Inbox Folder corrupt?

I remember a lng time ago there would occasionally be issues with the inbox folder. Messages would appear inall documents but not in the inbox. The fix was to copy the docs from the inbox to another folder, go into Designer and delete the inbox and then refresh the design. This would add it back in and mail would start showing up again
